Heavy rain this morning.

I stayed on the porch and looked around. Most everything was monochrome, including the usual green masses. The lava flagstones were nice and slick and shiny, but they too were monochrome. I made one stone image that I liked. When I switched from color to B&W I couldn't see any change!

So here's the largest variety of colors I could find: the yellow cypress and its trimmings (who failed to clean these up?), the black ti, and then dead kukui leaves. I did like the way the kukui leaves mimicked the flagstone curve.

Now for some fun. Here's a much-enlarged (cropped) shot of the Zen garden, from the helicopter flight on Friday. The camera was about 1500' in the air.

Also, although this isn't really HDI business, here's a link to the lava video I made yesterday.
