I wasn't at all sure I could pull this shot off. It was fairly dark, and yet I needed to have the moon and sky well-exposed, while still managing to show the strongly shadowed 'ōhi'a. But -- and this is why I use a D850 -- there was enough dynamic range to make the shot work.
