Rainy, dull, windy. I was looking for something seasonal, and not finding much from the porch. Then this redcap flew into the kukui tree and stayed there long enough for me to go inside and mount the 300mm lens and get back out. We're headed for Mauna Kea, where it may be windy, but it's not going to be rainy and dull. It'll be cold, though, but that's OK.
