The brilliant epidendrums are blooming again. But it was very windy and thus hopeless. I already did red epidendrum in the wind, months ago.

 

Then I saw this fallen one, which wasn't going to be moving at all, so I got the close-up rig. In the camera's display I couldn't see the coloration of the gravel. I confess I've never looked closely at Yamada Brothers #58 gravel. Notice the colors, and also the inclusions. The gravel is crushed from local stone, presumably lava.
