This isn't even close to the first Tahitian gardenia (or pikake) that I've shot when they've died and are going all transparent. I like that look.

This is the first one that I've shot on the steps with orange 'ohi'a threads, lit by early sun, though. The 'ohi'a threads (don't know their proper name) have been stuck to the steps for weeks now. And are you thinking that surface is concrete? Underneath, yes. On top, algae slime. I need to get to work with the pressure washer before it gets any worse. Slipping hazard!
