Hilo Daily Image

I was trimming the hapu'u this morning, early (while surveying the wild pig damage from last night, which wasn't as bad as it was earlier this week).
Hapu'u frond have sap, and so here's a reflection-in-sap. I'm sure that all the other reflection/refraction images I've made have used water. What I liked about this drop of sap was the orange that the rising sun lit up.
This is a considerable enlargement. There was no way to get the depth-of-field that I wanted except by backing out and cropping. There wasn't enough light, and also the hapu'u was moving in the wind.
