Lychees. Last year I didn't pay much attention to photographing them until they were mostly ripe. This morning, the contrast between the unripe and riper ones caught my eye.
I wouldn't have guessed that the degree of ripening varies even in the same cluster.
As you can see, the bumps redden first. Must be a lesson there somewhere.
