The betel palm I planted behind the house in 2008 has grown very tall. You can see its crown from the street now.
This morning I went to the back lanai to see what might be HDI-worthy out there, and there was a betel frond fallen on the power line. I liked the shape and the green striations on the right side.
And it's going to have to fall off by itself. It's true that the cables are insulated, but I don't have a non-conductive pole long enough to reach the frond.
