I think I've caught an anthurium doing its reproductive thing. I never gave any thought to how anthuriums reproduce -- seeds, runners, whatever. I haven't looked it up yet, either. But I think the yellowish objects on and just falling free from the spathe are the next generation of this anthurium.

 

Someone knows, and later today I'll try to find out. As for the image, what caught my eye was the way the early sun lit the anthurium, and the seed (if that's what it is), which I first saw back-lit. The tendrils were obvious.
