It's not that I like decaying flowers. Really. But when the white hibiscus are on their way out, three things happen that I find visually interesting. One is that, for some reason, they flatten themselves against any leaf they fall on, a completely different look. The second is that they go translucent, such that the leaf shows through, and the blossom's veins stand out in relief. The third is that the vibrant colors stay until the rest has all decayed.
