Sometimes I pay attention to whether I'm making the HDI on a holiday or other special day. Today I really wasn't -- but when I went to see what I had to work with, I noticed the bamboo on the mauka side of the house being whipped about by the wind. And I always like wind-whipped whatever.

 

It was only when I was processing that I realized what I had were two canes blowing towards each other, away from each other, and back again.

 

I found the right shutter speed to catch what I wanted, and here it is.
