I've been thinking of using some very old 'ohi'a flooring that my father got from the old Hilo Boarding School when the main building was pulled down.

 

But because I don't think very fast, a couple of pieces have been leaning against the front porch railing for a week or more. When I went out this morning to see what I could see, I noticed that the rising sun was behind some trees and I could place that behind one of the planks. So I did, and experimented with aperture to get the effect I wanted, and that's what you get this morning.
