I was headed down the front stairs when this cluster of red epidendrums caught my eye, for two reasons -- one, the light filtered through the hapu'u fronds, and the other, that the blossoms weren't the brilliant red that they usually are, and the same was true for the yellows. I think this means that the cluster's on its way out.

 

Whatever the reason, I found it attractive.
