More rain -- actually a little storm blew in when it just just getting light. I tried for some trees-whipping-in-the-wind shots, but they were only OK. Not especially interesting.
When it got light, I went around to the back porch. By early next week it will be gone, and good riddance -- it's in rough shape. Even so, I thought I'd better memorialize it. I might even shoot it again tomorrow and Monday.
The colors were nice. I focused on the nail head, not that you'll be able to see that on the web. But it amused me. It doesn't take much to amuse me, evidently.
A major renovation project starts on Monday. Things could get interesting. The whole back of the house will be rebuilt inside, with some additions outside. Ruth and I will live downstairs in the guest quarters. I'll probably set up my office in the kitchen. When it's all done -- 11 or 12 weeks from now -- I'll have two new HDI vantage points, usable in the rain. It's all about the HDI, right? Right.
