This is the "Buddha" bamboo in the Zen garden. Usually I don't go for symmetry, but the angle of the hapu'u frond in the background worked well with the shoots.

 

This clump of bamboo wasn't planted yet when I made the Thanksgiving 2014 shot. Things change around here.

 

Maybe there will be a Thanksgiving 2016 HDI, maybe not.
