I was looking out the bedroom window down into the Zen garden, and saw this nice dark leaf with a golden V coming up from the black ti trunk.

 

I couldn't shoot through the screen, which is 8' x 4' and hinged at the top, so I asked Ruth to use a mop handle and open it for me so I could shoot under it.

 

And that's the entire story of today's HDI: a cooperative venture.
