Tahitian gardenia leaves.

 

I worked hard cleaning out an area that I'd let go for months. This gardenia bush is on its edge, and the strong morning sun did a good job of back-lighting them. I'll be returning to this area, because I saw four or five good shots there, but didn't take them.

 

Tomorrow (the 24th) I have to be out of the house around 4 AM. If I can't find anything that's workable at about 3 AM, I'll wait until I get back (mid-afternoon). I might find something in the Zen garden by using artificial light. I'll use it, if I do.
