Sunny morning, but I was late getting out (went running first). I found four or five good little flowers (mostly orchids) but it was windy. I was too lazy to go back inside and get my plant clamp, so I looked for things that fairly stable.

 

Found this new hapu'u frond. I don't think I've noticed one just at this stage, where where are going to become the brown hairs are translucent. I liked how the various tendrils took on different colors because of the background. It was backlit, and so I tried lifting the exposure on the stalk -- but that killed what I thought was interesting. There is a Lightroom tool I could have used, but I didn't want to take the time, being late and all.
