Looks as though I've got a green-on-green thing going. It's not by design.
I went out to the makai border because from the porch I saw an interestingly-colored taro leaf out there. I got some good shots. But then I turned away from it and, as I've said so many times, I saw a better shot.
This is Heliconia, one of my least-favorite plants. But its leaves are dark-edged, which can contrast nicely with the green-yellow. In this case, there are hapu'u fronds in the background (the hapu'u has been overgrown by the Heliconia, which is one reason I don't like it) and their shapes work well with the foreground leaves.
So. Heliconia it is.
