We still haven't really gotten hit by Tropical Storm Niala, and maybe it's not going to do much.

 

I was going to wait until I got back from running (today's going to be short, only about a half-marathon) but it wasn't raining and so I thought I'd get out there and see what I could find, in case Niala's heavy rain does show up.

 

There was wind, so any delicate things weren't going to work. Low light, too.

 

And so off to the mauka Dypsis clump. Some of the trunks are black. I need to learn whether that's a problem. At the top, even the black ones seem healthy.

 

In color, this was uninteresting.
