Rain. Another storm scheduled for this weekend, so you'll be seeing rainy images.

 

I went down to the Zen garden to see what might be interesting there. The old shell was OK, the black ti was pretty good, and so was a Meyer lemon dripping water. But none of them really grabbed me.

 

Then I looked over to the far border and there was a betel frond, which isn't unusual (I've given you plenty of betel fronds) but this time, the little shower tree was framing it nicely. Well, with some help from cropping. I didn't go back inside and get the 300, which would have done the job without my having to crop. I was taken by the wave-like form of the shower tree, and so zeroed in on that -- out of focus, as you see. The black form at the lower left is that twisted lava bomb on top of the rock wall that I've given you several times. Thanks to the magic of selective focus and a wide aperture it's now a blob instead of a bomb.
