The Kula gardenias are blooming again.

 

I thought this one was HDI-worthy because of the backlighting, and thus the very different illumination from one side to the other.

 

Another big storm's headed our way: hurricane Ignacio. We might see some action tomorrow, but certainly on Monday there will be trouble. If it keeps to its current track it won't slam into us, and all we'll get are what its fringes deliver. But if it moves more south-southwest, it will.

 

Very strong winds will probably blown off many of the flowers. Carpe diem.
