The pair of clove trees we planted more than a year ago are flourishing. Both are a good 8' tall, and as full as they are supposed to be. They anchor the Puna side of the Zen garden. The young leaves are indeed this color.

 

It's been very rainy, but I haven't seen any rain-related images worth making -- in the yard, at least.
