Rose pikake, and back to the close-up lens.

 

What I like about this pikake variety is that although it eventually whitens to the white level of an ordinary pikake blossom, before it does it has this subtle green cast.

 

Also, although it's not possible to avoid having distant objects increasingly out-of-focus (without some Photoshop tricks that I don't use), today that worked nicely because each set of increasingly out-of-focus leaves is larger and larger. I liked that.
