Back to any lens I feel like using. In this case, it's the new 300.
New Guinea black ti leaf, dying (this is quite normal for ti). The rising sun was hitting it, and I liked the colors -- especially the background (the Zen garden) which was nicely bluish and shadowed.
I made several shots, trying to catch the light on a spiderweb stretched up from the leaf, but I was only able to get one little spot. I can see the strand in Lightroom, but it's not going to be visible on the web.
It does feel good to be back in selective-focus land. That's my natural visual territory.
