This is the 4 July HDI processed using Lightroom's Dehaze processor. You can see that the sky is a bit more evenly-blue, the clouds don't have as much detail and contrast, and that the section between the trees isn't "blown out." This image has its charms, but to me it's much more sedate than the other. And as HDI viewers know, I'll give up sedate anytime I'm in the mood.
