Superwide week.
Lava, aggressive grass, and a paint flake from when the chimney was pressure-washed. I'm going to fill this area with gravel, even though I like the red lava (which will turn black within the year).
Today I used a beanbag that I got a few years ago for shooting out of the car with a telephoto. When I realized that I wanted to be way down on the lava, I went inside and got it. There was no possibility of using the tripod, and I knew I'd be shooting at 1/5 second. The beanbag worked perfectly.
I liked the way the grass came cascading down the right side, and I liked the dark outflow into the bottom of the frame.
