What always grabs me about the anthurium bed is the deep shadows that are reliably there. It's because of the large leaves, and the way they grow. And the leaves are typically rimmed with a yellowish green.
So that's today's, and I think this is the end of New Lens Week. I'll get back to others starting tomorrow. Maybe. I do love this lens. What I haven't done yet is mount the doubler and see what my world looks like at 600 mm.
Maybe next week can be 600 mm Week. That would be fun. OK, that's what I'll do. The only downside is going to be that at 600 mm, my widest aperture will be f/8. That makes low light tricky, especially if it's windy.
