We're seen this Rattus skull before. It's being transformed very nicely. I like the way there's now yellow-green along the skull's sutures.

 

I was thinking lava for today -- lava rocks, anyway -- because Ruth and I were at Hilina Pali yesterday, working on some video. I wanted to experiment with using the 300 only, because I like that perspective.

 

Here at HDI I don't talk about video, but that's something Ruth and I are doing. There's a thing out there -- I don't know what else to call it but thing -- called video poetry. Not surprisingly, it combines video and poems. The notion raises many intriguing issues about sound and image -- not something to explore here. But that's what we were doing yesterday.
