Blue ginger, way in the back under the giant ginger where the mosquitoes are thick and the coqui call even in daylight.

 

I was lying in bed thinking about the HDI (yes, I have no life) and what I could do with the blue ginger. Months ago, I had an idea about "stacking" the blooms with a telephoto, but couldn't make it happen. Last night I had the idea of shooting straight on, head on, top down, instead of from the side. You can find sideways blue ginger images anywhere.

 

So here's blue ginger from an unusual perspective.

 

Two more HDI out in the back corner. I won't miss the mosquitoes.
