I was in the Zen garden shooting the Meyer lemon (which has buds, and some interesting root exposures). It rained last night, and every leaf in the garden had water drops on it. I wasn't satisfied with what I was getting with the lemon, so I started on the Buddha bamboo, which had some beautifully-colored leaves. OK, that was nice. Then I noticed that high up, the tips of the Buddha bamboo's new canes had water drops on them. I set up for the first one, but brushed the cane and the drop fell.

Then I turned towards the rising run, and realized that there was one drop that was refracting the sunrise, the Areca palm, some of the bamboo leaves, clouds, and so on. I made a few with the drop against the sun (bokeh producing something that looked like the sun) and was pleased, but the bokeh in this one pleased me more.
