When I was developing software I learned the meaning of bug into feature, which refers to how something that creeps in and makes your routines work in an unexpected way (the bug), may lead you to see how that unexpected behavior could lead to something useful (the feature).
I've often complained about shooting in low light and wind. Today I had low light and wind and decided to do the bug-feature thing. Why not let this bright little orchid cluster that I couldn't keep still and in focus make a beautiful pattern? With a two-second exposure, it did.
