No, I didn't move the Saturation slider at all.
There was a breeze and I couldn't focus manually on the moving spider. I cranked ISO up to 400 so (coincidentally) I could shoot at 1/400 . . . and autofocus nailed the moving spider. Often I feel as though autofocus in Live View lets me down, but today it did its job perfectly.
