Hibiscus blossom, unopened. What I found interesting was the focus plane and also the way the outer part of the bud became a kind of aura or penumbra -- so out of focus that you don't really know what it is. It wasn't possible to get focus on the center while keeping the rest of the innards in focus. I made some with the very center in focus, but then what's in focus in this one, wasn't. No f/57 today, because of low light and wind. So I chose the speckling and radial lines.
