Gravel driveway with unwelcome ornamental taro. I built the new driveway across a bed of ornamental taro I planted four or five years ago. I stress ornamental because if it were edible taro I'd feel bad about attacking it. It's very hard to get rid of. The roots are strong and will come back over and over again, no matter how many times I cut off the top. I'm not sure what to do next, because I don't want have a large bed of taro in the driveway.
For all my complaints, though, they are visually interesting. I'm sure we'll see more of them.
