I've given you insects, but here's an invasive lizard. When I was a boy, the only lizards were the native Hawaiian gecko. Then these came in, during the seventies. As usual, no one stopped the importation of invasive species -- it's a terrible, terrible problem here -- and so these lizards (and others) are everywhere. It's very hard to find native geckos. I can't remember the last time I saw one.
