Most people are used to seeing ti from the site or below. Here's a small one, from above. It won't be in place very long, because I'm trimming a mass of ti (some of whom are probably 40 or 50 years old; you can see the very large trunk of one of them in the bottom left) and this one's coming off. You can dig them out, or lop them off, and throw them on the ground in some shade and leave them for days, even weeks. Then you pick them up, dig a simple hole, drop them in, and the odds that they'll grow happily after all that abuse are excellent. I'm going to slice this one off with my machete, take it to the back border, and stick it in the ground. It'll do fine.
