There was another beautiful-but-boring sunrise this morning. I usually stand on the front porch looking for HDI possibilities. This morning I sat on the porch floor and immediately noticed that the rising sun was laying down some nice highlights on the porch railings, the drops of dew, the areas of rust, and even on the spiderweb. Standing up, I would have missed it.
I'll have to attack the rust soon. I stripped and repainted the railings a couple of years ago, but clearly I didn't get all the rust. They are the very-thirties originals.
