Here's the first shot of the ocean. Not much of it, to be sure.
I thought if I severely underexposed (2 stops) so as to darken the trees (and took black down all the way in Lightroom) I could get something interesting.
This shot is displaced only a few degrees left from 2014 08 11. As I've said, the views around the horizon don't change; the difficulty is in getting a different look. Now if I just had an 800 mm lens . . . .
