"Always put your tools away after work," my father used to say.
He installed the California quail faucet back in the 70s, and when I had the house re-plumbed I reinstalled it, even though it leaks. I'm responsible for the regular garden hose (not put away), the fancy coiled garden hose (not put away) and the orange air hose I was using out in the back yesterday afternoon when it got too dark to work (not put away). The water hoses are perpetually not put away, but I usually I do bring the air hose in when I'm done with the compressor and nail gun. Yesterday I didn't, and the bright color caught my eye this rainy morning. Also I liked the twisted and curled shapes.
