Raining again. When I was out on the front porch, I noticed that the light had caught two new banana leaves. They were at the back boundary, by the power lines. I shot with the 200. The original image was uninteresting, but I knew I had enough resolution and sharpness, even at f/2.8, for a severe crop. Before this, I shot some ladders next to the rock wall, an eave with my betel palm (and betel nuts), and some chairs sitting in the garden. All these shots were OK but didn't do much for me. But the banana leaf, lit as it was, did. I have a soft spot for big banana or Heliconia leaves, back-lit.
