Bougainvillea up the driveway towards Wailuku Drive. I was in a stacking mood, so I used 270 mm and focused only on the bright flowers.  I'm very fond of telephoto shots, because I like the perspective. The camera was about 100' from the flowers. I also liked the way the blue jade spilling over the wall (out of focus, deliberately) spills in concert with the honeysuckle.

There are two serious storms headed for the Big Island. One will strike tomorrow, and the other over the weekend. Heavy rain and high winds. Of course I'll make an image, but if we lose power, it might be difficult to process it and get it up on the web.
